This is the Great Bend Public Library located at 1409 Williams, Great Bend, Kansas. It is the headquarters of the Central Kansas Library System. Staff members who work here strive to give the people what they want every time they come to the library.

    Before I came to Great Bend in 1977, I directed the Pickens County Library in Easley, South Carolina for more than six years.
