The seeds of reading are planted before children enter school. That's why it's so important that parents read to their children from the very beginning. We encourage all parents to read to their children. When they do, it will leave a lasting impact on their lives.

Have your children register for library cards at the Library.
Accompany your children to the library every week.
Help them select books to check out.
Bring them to story hour and other library programs.
Make reading time with children a part of your family routine.
