| INTERNET/WORD PROCESSING COMPUTERS |
| 1. |
You must have a current Great Bend Public Library card with no fines or overdue materials. |
| 2. |
You must sign an Internet Use Agreement. Children under the age of 18 must also have a parent or legal guardian sign the agreement. |

You must sign up at the Circulation Desk to use all computers except the 5-minute computer located next to the Reference Desk. |

| HOW TO SIGN UP TO USE THE INTERNET COMPUTERS |
| 1. |
Sign up at the Circulation Desk to use any computer except the 5-minute computer next to the Reference Desk. |
| 2. |
To use any Internet computer you should have your Great Bend Public Library card with you. The card will be scanned to verify that you have signed the Internet Use Agreement. |
| 3. |
A library staff member will tell you which computer to use. |
| 4. |
When you are finished with the computer, stop at the Circulation Desk and tell a staff member you are finished. |
| 5. |
If, for any reason, you leave the computer before your time is up the computer will be assigned to someone else. |

| CHILDREN'S DEPARTMENT COMPUTERS |
| 1. |
Computers in the Children's Department are for children through the 6th grade. |
| 2. |
Children must have a current Great Bend Public Library card with no fines or overdue materials and have an "Internet Use Agreement" on file to use the Internet computers. |
| 3. |
You must sign up at the Circulation Desk to use Internet computers in the Children's Department. |
| 4. |
If, for any reason, you leave the computer before your time is up the computer will be assigned to someone else. |

| HEALTH REFERENCE, GENEALOGY & WORD PROCESSOR |
| 1. |
You do not need a library card or "Internet Use Agreement" to use the Health Reference Computer, Genealogy Computer or the Word Processor Computer. |
| 2. |
You must sign up at the Circulation Desk to use any of these three computers. You may sign up for 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours at a time. If no one is waiting you may sign up again. |

| TECHNOLOGY LAB COMPUTERS |
| 1. |
Computers numbered one through ten will be used when the library hosts computer classes. Classes will cover a wide variety of subjects such as Internet use, Microsoft Word and genealogy programs. |
| 2. |
Computers one to ten will not be available during computer classes. |

| HOW TO RESERVE A COMPUTER |
| 1. |
You may reserve one of four computers (numbers 11-14) by calling 792-2409 during times the library is open to the public. These computers may be reserved for 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours per day. You must call on the day you want to use the computer. |
| 2. |
Children through 6th grade may call 792-2409 to reserve one of the four computers in the Children's Department. |
| 3. |
Computers may be reserved for up to 1 1/2 hours per day by coming into the library on the day you want to use the computer. These computers may be unavailable when there is a computer class. No phone reservations may be made for these five computers. |
