Phone from Home services are directly available to rural residents of the seventeen Central Kansas Library System counties. Residents of communities without public libraries in those same counties are also eligible for the Services.
CKLS Phone from Home can function as these residents' "home library". By calling the toll-free number (800-362-2642) they may request materials or ask reference questions. The books, video, and audio materials requested will be sent directly to the patron's home and will include a postage-paid return label.
