If you are a veteran library marketer, this may not be a workshop for you, but if you struggle with boring flyers, low program attendance, and a library that is, for all intents and purposes, invisible in your community, you will want to attend this workshop. Gail will show you how to hit the EASY button for marketing your library.

In this intensive, hands-on workshop you will learn the EASY way to make bookmarks, flyers, posters, table tent cards, trifold brochures, and more. Draft a marketing plan that saves you time and energy, yet makes sure the library is front and center in your town.

Each library attending the workshop will receive a Flashdrive pre-loaded with a number of Microsoft Publisher templates.

This workshop is intended for librarians and trustees who have already attended one of Gail's Signage workshops, or who have a good working knowledge of Publisher basics. This is not an introductory 101 class. If you want to attend, but need to learn how to use Publisher, please work through this tutorial at GCF Learn Free.

Looking to put a little “Wow” into your program? Whether this is your first or your 81st storytime, you might need some inspiration and fresh ideas to make your story program exciting for the children and for you.

Miss Patty will share some tricks to engage little people, explore ways to offer early literacy activities in your library, and show ways to get your little ones movin’ and groovin’.

The afternoon will highlight the talents of CKLS librarians who have volunteered to show some of their best Storytime material. Plan to leave with a bag of awesome freebies and brand new children’s books from the free book giveaway.

Please bring a favorite craft or activity (with instructions) to display at the workshop.

The list of materials to bring to the workshop will be sent through the CKLS Googlegroup.
