Computer Classes

With the help of several grants, we have an 11-computer technology lab, from which we offer several classes to the public each week.

Classes are free of charge to Great Bend Public Library card holders in good standing who have signed a Computer Agreement.

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER (1) By coming to the Library and completing a registration form. OR (2) E-mailing to: classes@ckls.org. When you email please include the date and time of the class you want to attend and your phone number.
Classes are limited to ten and are hands-on with everyone having his or her own computer. Registration will be on a first come basis.

OBSERVERS: You may attend the class as an observer. Observers are not allowed to set at a computer and may not ask questions. Some people prefer to attend a class first as an observer, to allow time to take notes, and then attend another class time as a student.

CLASSES: For beginners we teach the basics of operating the mouse and using the keyboard. For those who already know these skills we offer classes on word processing, e-mail, Internet searching, genealogical research, and much more. We publish a list of classes each month.
