| Overdues and Fines |
Overdue Materials The library has established loan periods for materials it lends to the public. The purpose of these loan periods is to make sure that everyone has equal access to all of the materials in the library. We charge fines for overdue materials to encourage people to return the materials they borrow on time. If you keep a book or audiobook past the return date you still have a grace period of one week to return the material without a fine. |

Overdue Fees
Daily fines on regular items are 10 cents per item per day.
The fee for overdue videocassettes is $1.00 per videocassette per day.
The fee for overdue audiovisual equipment is $1.00 per hour. |
|
Maximum Fee on Overdue Items
The maximum fee on each overdue item, including videos, is $5.00.
The patron is not entitled to keep the item. There are no exceptions. |
