| Library Cards Everyone who borrows materials from the library needs to have a library card. Library cards are free. To get a library card you need to fill out an application form and show us some form of identification that has your current mailing address. Children under 18 need to have a parent or legal guardian come to the library and sign for their children to have a library card. Replacment cards cost $1.00. | ||

| Loan Periods The regular loan period for books, cassettes, records, and pamphlets is three weeks. The regular loan period may be extended in person or by telephone if the material is not overdue and no other patron has a hold on the item. Reserves (holds) may be placed in person or by telephone. | ||
| All videos check out for two days. Videos may not be renewed. R-rated videos will be kept behind the circulation desk, along with the fifty newest videos. Other videos will be shelved within the general book collection. Reserves may be placed only on non-fiction videos and audiocassettes. | ||
| Periodicals do not circulate. With the approval, magazines may be taken out of the library for one hour to make color copies, if necessary. | ||
Number of Items A patron may have a total of 25 items checked out at any given time. They are specifically limited to:
Ten audiocassettes per card Four videos per family on an adult card Three cake pans per card |

| Equipment Loan Only adults may borrow equipment (projectors, etc.). | ||
| Interlibrary Loan If the library does not have the material you need, you may come into the library and request the material through Interlibrary Loan. All fees charged by the lending library (except postage) will be paid by the patron. Materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan cannot be renewed. Interlibrary Loan videos check out for one week. | ||
| Book Return Services You may return library materials through the outside book return. You are still responsible for the physical condition of the books until they are taken inside the library. Do not use the book return for videocassettes, records, tapes, and interlibrary loan materials. | ||
